At Safalina.nl, we do our best to process and deliver your order as quickly and reliably as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle order processing, delivery times, shipping costs, and related matters, in accordance with Dutch and EU consumer protection law.

Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after placing your order, and a separate email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

We currently ship to the following destinations:

• The Netherlands
• Belgium

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

We work with the following carrier(s): PostNL / DHL.

Delivery times are estimates and start from the moment your order is dispatched, not from the moment the order is placed. Delivery times may be affected by external factors outside our control, such as carrier delays, customs processing (for non-EU shipments), or peak periods (e.g. holiday season).

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout, before you confirm your order.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your parcel's progress. If you have not received your tracking information within 2 business days of placing your order, please contact us at hello@safalina.nl

Risk of Loss and Title

Ownership and risk of loss for products purchased from Safalina.nl pass to you upon delivery of the product to the carrier, in accordance with Dutch consumer protection rules — meaning that if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, this is our responsibility, not yours, provided the delivery address you provided was correct.

Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. Safalina.nl is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us because it could not be delivered (e.g. due to an incorrect address or the customer not being present to collect it), we may charge reasonable re-shipping costs to send the order again.

Customs and Import Duties (Non-EU Orders)

For orders shipped outside the European Union, the recipient may be responsible for import duties, customs fees, and/or local taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the order or shipping total and are the responsibility of the customer. Safalina.nl has no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, or if it does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us at safalina.nl within 48hrs of the expected delivery date, including your order number and, where relevant, photos of the damaged product or packaging. We will investigate with the carrier and offer a replacement, reshipment, or refund as appropriate.

Right of Withdrawal

Shipping does not affect your legal right of withdrawal. As an EU consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your product, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Dutch Distance Selling Regulations (implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
